Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Oslo

An annual Health Expo was held in a Gymnasium in Oslo on November 21st. The three day Expo was held on a weekend and attracted a lot of people. Since Falun Gong has physically and spiritually benefited over one hundred million people around the world, the Falun Gong group has been invited to participate in the event every year.
In addition to the banners reading “Falun Gong in Norway”, “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, “Falun Gong Is Popular Around the World” and “Stop China’s Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners,” etc. practitioners also demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises at the Falun Gong booth. Various leaflets, Falun Gong exercises-teaching CDs, Falun Gong books and paper lotus flowers were displayed on the desk at the booth. Many visitors came over to view the material and asked questions about Falun Gong.
On the second day, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on the stage in the centre of the exhibition hall, which attracted lots of warm applause and some people came to the back of the stage to ask for material.
During the Expo, practitioners conducted two seminars teaching Falun Gong exercises. Throughout the Expo, some people asked for Falun Gong material, others came to know Falun Gong seriously as well as purchasing Falun Gong exercises teaching DVDs and Falun Gong books, still others started to learn the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. Some people also said that they had started to practise Falun Gong at home.
