(Clearwisdom.net) On December 24, 2009, banners reading "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" fluttered in the breeze at Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. The Divine Land Marching Band's resounding performances on the piers, and more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners in golden yellow exercise suits caught the attention of tourists passing by. The practitioners also played a recording of testimony by an an eyewitness, which exposed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Several police officers on duty looked at the photo displays. They were appalled upon seeing several photos depicting Falun Gong practitioners' deformities as a result of the persecution.

A group of middle school students from Taoyuan were shocked by the severity of the persecution
A group of middle school students who were on their graduation trip from Taoyuan took photos of the Falun Gong practitioners, who were doing the exercises, as well as the Divine Land Marching Band. When they saw the practitioners reenacting torture methods, they asked their teacher why such a thing is happening in China. The teacher told the students that there is no freedom of belief in China, so Falun Gong is being subjected to brutal persecution there.
Helping More People Step Forward to Stop the Persecution
A journalist from AFP has made follow-up reports on Falun Gong for a couple days, and he was impressed by the practitioners' demeanor. He said that the Association of European Journalists has been concerned about and discussed Falun Gong-related issues.
Mr. Nelson and his wife are visiting Taiwan from New York for the first time. They said that they would put what they found today on their blog to raise awareness and help more people to step forward to stop the persecution.
Quitting the Chinese Communist Party
Sun Moon Lake is a scenic spot visited by many Chinese tourists, and Falun Gong practitioners often talk to them about Falun Gong and the persecution. One practitioner helped about thirty Chinese tourists quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations within an hour.
One Chinese couple saw Falun Gong banners everywhere and angrily questioned the police on why Falun Gong practitioners were allowed to gather there and display banners. The police told them that Taiwan is a free and democratic society, does not interfere with one's freedom of belief, and that Falun Gong activities have been approved. The couple then saw the photo displays and anti-torture exhibit, which helped them see clearly the Chinese Communist regime's evil nature. They eventually quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
